Annual Fall Dinner Dance Oct. 5th, 2025
This year we are honoring our Treasurer and long time Mass Rock recording secretary John Gallagher III with the Tim O’Sullivan Award. John is well known and loved in our community. Along with Past President Bob Reilly, John kept our Division together as membership was declining and our division was on the verge of folding. John is also the Pipe Major for the Pipes and Drums of Greene County. The 33rd County! His business Gallagher’s Banquet Hall is where we hold our meetings and is available to rent for your private event. It is a beautiful hall right on Main St. in Cairo. You will not want to miss the Fall Dinner Dance this year as it will be a great event featuring Andy Cooney and his Band.once again at the Blackthorne Resorts dining room. The East Durham Honda 50 Club holds its 3rd annual run on June 21st at McGraths. Mary G. is performing. Following the bike run there is an all you can eat BBQ for $25. Tickets to win a 1964 Honda 50 are still available. Call Dave Harvey 914-438-2914. Our division will be donating a basket of cheer to be raffled off. Plans to hold a Shamrock degree for new members at the event will be discussed at our meeting this week.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS – on Saturday July 12th immediately following 4:00 Mass at the Shrine we will be presenting Fr. Jay and the church with the $10,000 check from monies we raised in 2024. Please try to attend this event. Wear your sashes if you have one. We should all sit together as a group and the LAOH are invited to be there with us. We hope to have the local news media people there to cover the presentation. So let’s show them Hibernianism is alive and well in Greene County.
