We’re currently selling $5 (5 for $20) raffle tickets to benefit our general fund and scholarship awards. The prizes include a few oversized bottles of Irish Whiskey. The Mass Rock AOH gives out several education grants and scholarships to local students every year.
You can purchase raffle tickets at the East Durham Irish Festival May 23-25 with the drawing taking place early Sunday afternoon at the main stage. We’ll also be selling tickets at upcoming various special events at Blackthorne Resort and The Shamrock Resort and Pub. Winners need not be present.
Last year, we raised $10k to benefit the roof repair of St Mary’s Church in East Durham which is next to Our Lady of Knock. The status of that project is pending but stay tuned.
